Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026

SuperGiù is a game with no account, no sign-up and no login. This policy explains what data the app processes, why, and with whom. In short: progress tied to an anonymous identifier, ads only with your consent, purchases handled by the stores, and no selling of data, ever.

Data stored on your device

Your records, streaks, coins, Journey progress and preferences (sound, haptics) are stored locally on your device. You can erase them at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data from your system settings.

Progress backup and sync

So you don't lose progress when switching phones, the app may tie it to a random identifier generated on first launch (it is not your name and not the advertising ID) and store it on our servers, hosted in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). If you sign in to your platform's game services, progress may also be saved there (see below). You can ask us to delete this data by writing to us.

Platform game services

On Android the app can use Google Play Games (automatic sign-in, achievements, leaderboards, cloud saves); on iOS, Apple Game Center. These services are operated by Google and Apple under their own policies; the app only receives your platform player identifier and public profile name. They are optional: the game works without them.

Advertising

The app shows ads (Google AdMob): rewarded videos you choose to watch and, occasionally, full-screen ads between games. On first launch we ask for your consent under the European rules (TCF): without consent, ads are non-personalised and the advertising identifier is not used. You can change your mind at any time from the settings. The "Remove ads" purchase removes full-screen ads.

In-app purchases

Purchases (coins, ad removal) are handled by Google Play or the App Store: we never see your payment details. To correctly activate what you bought we use RevenueCat, which processes an anonymous app identifier and the stores' purchase receipts.

Usage measurement

To understand what works in the game (which modes are played, where players get stuck) we may collect anonymous usage events through measurement tools (Google Firebase). We do not collect your name, email, contacts or location. This data is used only to improve the game.

Technical connection data

When the app downloads fresh data (player statistics, images) from our website supergiu.app, our server and CDN (Cloudflare) temporarily process your IP address and technical request data for security and abuse prevention, with no profiling.

Sharing your results

When you share a game, the image is generated by our server and sharing happens through your operating system's share menu: you choose where and with whom. We never know.

Player data

The statistics shown come from public sources (Transfermarkt/sportdb and Wikidata) and concern public sports figures. They are not data about you.

Children

The game is rated for ages 13+ on the stores. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, rectification or deletion of the data tied to your identifier (progress on our server) by writing to the address below. Data processed by Google, Apple, AdMob or RevenueCat is covered by their respective policies.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll publish the new version on this page and update the date shown at the top.
